HSC Aggies scholarships
The club awards scholarships to Hood and Somervell County students headed to Texas A&M. Each cycle's application, guidelines, and rubric are published here and distributed through area schools.
How it works
Applicants must be accepted to Texas A&M University (College Station, Galveston, or Qatar) and be a prospective graduate of a Hood or Somervell County school, or the child of a parent who lives in those counties. Club membership is not required and is not a scoring factor. Applications are scored on financial need, the essay, and activities, up to 15 points each.
Scholarship money comes from member dues, the annual Scholarship Sporting Clays Shoot, event sponsorships, and matching donations.

The 2026 application closed at 5:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2026. The 2027 packet has not been published yet. The 2026 forms remain here so families can see what the club asks for.
